Best soft play and indoor play areas in London and the UK

Let’s face it, keeping young children occupied on a rainy day can be hard work! A few hours in a stimulating, safe, clean soft play area can make all the difference when your kids need to burn off some energy on a cold or rainy day. Some of the better indoor play centres will even have a nice little cafe so you can relax while keeping an eye on your kids, free arts-and-crafts activities, and a safe place for the baby to roll around without being trampled by overexuberant toddlers.

Whether your favourite indoor soft play area is a massive all-singing-all-dancing entertainment centre with climbing structures, slides and bouncy castles, an imaginative area of a family friendly museum, or a colourful collection of soft play mats at your local baby friendly cafe, we want to hear about it!

Browse our collection of parent-recommended indoor play areas across the UK – and please add a comment below to let us know which soft play areas you would recommend.

Thank you for all your input – and please help other parents find your recommendations through Google by using the words “soft play”, “indoor play areas” and “indoor play centres” in your comment.
