About Disney On Ice
Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland Adventure invites audiences to relive their fondest Disneyland memories, as they join favourite characters and classic villains on a colourful journey through the setting of the Disneyland theme park. This spring the show will visit 5 cities across the UK in a national tour that is guaranteed to delight children and parents alike:
- Birmingham: 23 – 27 February 2011 LG Arena
- Liverpool: 2 – 6 March 2011 Echo Arena
- London: 9 – 13 March 2011 Wembley Arena
- Aberdeen: 16 – 20 March 2011 AECC P&J Arena
- Sheffield: 25 – 27 March 2011 Motorpoint Arena
Produced by Feld Entertainment, this spectacular adventure features an array of favourite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Baloo, Snow White, Cinderella and Stitch. The fun-filled show also includes scenes with Alice and the Mad Hatter, as well as Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles and Buzz Lightyear.
Every element of the show, from the dazzling skating to the amazing lighting and vibrant costumes, was designed to capture the fun, nostalgic atmosphere of Disneyland in the early 1960s. “Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland Adventure will remind audiences of all the fun and unimaginable possibilities that Disneyland offers while capturing the escapades of Mickey and his friends,” says Producer Kenneth Feld. “Children and adults alike will find this ice adventure both familiar and unexpected at the same time.”
Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland Adventure brings together the talents of an acclaimed creative team and an international ensemble of world-class skaters to tell an original story that will allow audiences to relive their favourite Disneyland memories with all the family.
