A Christmas Carol Panto by The Pantaloons

Here’s something to put a festive smile on even the glummest face (including Scrooge’s) – a free and hilarious adaption of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol by critically acclaimed outdoor theatre company The Pantaloons. With a cast of just four The Pantaloons will bring a full-on, contemporary twist to this much loved seasonal tale in the magical outdoor setting of The Scoop at More London – the stunning 1000-seater riverside amphitheatre next to City Hall – on 17th & 18th December.

This is the first Dickens production for The Pantaloons who specialise in making the classics accessible for everyone from children to die-hard literature fans through a unique combination of interaction, theatre and music. This special winter production will use puppetry, slapstick, original music, traditional carols and participation inviting audiences into the world of the play and a scene’s direction which can completely change based on the audience member’s suggestions.

No tickets required, no need to book – just wrap up warm, bring your festive cheer and enjoy the show! Cushions are available for hire and food and drink can be purchased at the entrance.
