Best M&S Babywear for Spring and Summer
There are so many sweet little summer rompers to choose from, but my favourite is this diddy little dungaree set. They are too cute! They’re nice and comfy (I presume… I have not worn them myself!) and just right for a summer’s day out in the park. They’re also incredibly practical – they have a popper fastening for quick nappy change, as well as an envelope neck to make it easier to roll down so you can deal with those rather more messy moments. They’re also machine washable and you can pop them on the line or the tumble drier.
Best M&S Baby Gift
I absolutely love this soft grey and white striped cotton blanket (“shawl” they’re calling it). It makes a lovely baby gift, and being perfect for changeable English summer weather I would consider it a baby essential! It’s chunky and stylish but still nice and light, so if it’s one of those days with patchy clouds, you can roll it up and pop it into the buggy for a day out, or tuck it around baby for naptime. The muted grey and white mean that it goes with absolutely anything and still looks stylish, which means that if you’re giving it as a gift you don’t have to worry about whether it will clash with their buggy or nursery decor. It’s also extra super soft and 100% sustainable cotton, and being machine washable (even at 30 degrees) it’s practical too.
Best M&S Baby Essentials for Teething
You know those days when your baby’s top is completely soaked through from all the drooling? When Mads and Danger Boy were teething (at the same time!! oh the trials of motherhood!), I tried to contain the vast amounts of baby dribble by wrapping them in muslin squares like some sort of ruffled cotton bandits. My friend’s baby wasn’t so much a drooler as a milk-spitter-upper, soaking the top half of all of her outfits in warm milky spit-up, so she too went down the muslin bandit route. These dribble bibs do the same job, but look way cuter. Highly recommended.

Until a few months ago I actually had no idea that M&S carried baby essentials like baby bottles, tumblers, baby skincare, baby monitors and a huge range of SkipHop changing bags (my favourite range – they are gorgeous, practical and indestructible!). For me, it was always the place to go for lovely, high quality, unisex baby gifts, but in fact there is a huge range and the products are much more affordable than I imagined.
