Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium in Hampshire

An all-weather family destination that the kids just love. There are 100 hands-on exhibits about science, like giant toys really, cranes, ropes & pulleys, turning handles to create a water spout and so on.

The Planetarium is really something special and different. Like a cinema, it shows programmes that have a story, surround sound and amazing images.

The screen is so big that it can give the illusion that you are floating through the universe. There are different shows appealling to different ages – from infants to adults. At 170 seats this is the largest Planetarium in the UK.

Admission to the Planetarium is an optional extra (£2.20) to the Winchester Science Centre admission.
