St Martin-in-the-Fields is a landmark church in the heart of London (on the Northeast corner of Trafalgar Square) and is well known for its welcoming atmosphere, award-winning child friendly cafe, popular classical and jazz concerts and historic James Gibbs architecture. The food in the Cafe in the Crypt is prepared onsite using fresh, local ingredients. Hot meals are around 8 and if possible they will make smaller portions for children. If you haven’t brought anything with you to entertain the kids at the table, you can pick up some at-table activities in the Crypt shop. There are free lunchtime concerts Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 1pm, and Mini Maestro Family Concerts selected Saturdays at 4.30pm (Adults 8, Under 16s 6), as well as the well loved evening concerts. rn There is also a brass rubbing centre which older children will really enjoy.
