The Freddie Flintoff of London Spanish Restaurants. This has (nearly) it all. A great menu covering the usual Spanish standards plus British frying pan/cafe stuff. The Churros (Spanish doughnuts dipped in hot chocolate) are a heart attack waiting to happen but my kids love ’em. There is an outside area where you never have to wait too long for a table, so go on a sunny day & watch the good people of Westbourne Grove go by – very handy for the shops. The food is great and the staff love kids (they are more Balearic than Balkan) and are very friendly & quick. The only down side is that the premises doesn’t have a loo for customers: however on the island in the road are London’s cleanest public toilets which are free and have baby changing facilities in both the women’s & in the mens (for some reason). A great place for breakfast at the weekend and if you stay past 11am you can get in a cheeky bottle of chilled Rose before you face the shops.
