The Windmill is a traditional pub right on Clapham Common, with good food and real ales from the Well’s & Young’s brewery. They have a large outdoor seating area and also offer accommodation and function rooms.
The location of this pub couldn’t be better – right on Clapham Common, next to a small playground. In nice weather you can sit out front with the kiddies, but be aware that this is also a big spot for 20 and 30something pub-goers. Often we find it jam-packed with singles drinking and flirting. “Do you know what that can lead to?” we want to yell. “Take a look at these two children here! THAT’S what you can expect!”
