During term-time there are plenty of activities for the children, such as Make-Believe Mondays with interactive stories and themed adventures, Art & Crafty Tuesdays, Cookery Club with cake making, cookie decorating and pizza making, and Active Kids sports and games every Thursday. On Wednesdays there is also a coffee morning for parents and carers.

The YumYum Cafe serves hot and cold drinks including freshly squeezed juice, as well as a wide selection of salads, wraps, sandwiches and jacket potatoes. There are also plenty of options for the kids including healthy snacks, hot and cold lunches and organic baby food, and the staff can make special arrangements for children with allergies. You are allowed to bring your own baby food if you choose.

Parents can also unwind in the Adult Area, with magazines, newspapers, TV, computeres with internet access, and free wifi.

  1. Gambado is a BIG indoor play centre in Chelsea harbour. We went there for a birthday party (which I imagine was pretty expensive) and compared to other play centres I’ve been to (especially It’s a Kids Thing in Earlsfield) Gambado is huge. As well as all the usual soft play stuff there is a merry-go-round and a small dodgems track which I think are included in the price. The soft play structure features a massive slide, which my kids loved. The party food was pretty standard – chips, pizza slices etc. The whole venue looked very well run, with an emphasis on safety and security (all parents have to register on entry) and there were lots of parents taking advantage of the many comfy seating areas to have a coffee and read the papers while their kids ran amok.
