Best Disneyland Paris Hotels for Kids

With great deals on Disneyland® Paris holidays available online throughout the year, we thought we’d make it easier for you to choose which Disney® Hotels are best for your family. Whether you’re on a budget or diving in at the deep end, Disneyland Paris has a myriad of hotels on offer, and in our experience the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly wherever you choose to stay.

The seven on-site Disney hotels each have their own unique theme and are all located within walking distance of the Disney Parks. Ranging from 2 *– 4* and with a variety of standard and family rooms, and even some rooms with bunk beds, Disney hotels are ideal for groups of all sizes.

Our two favourites for families are Disney’s Newport Bay Club ® and the Disney’s Santa Fe ®, described below.

Why stay in a Disney Hotel?

There are plenty of good, affordable hotels near Disneyland Paris – there are often deals on hotels on LateRooms, Hotels.com and through TripAdvisor for hotels in Marne la Vallée and the surrounding area. If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris with young children, however, we’d highly recommend staying in one of Disney’s own hotels, and here’s why:

  • The on-site Disney Hotels are walking distance from the Disney Parks – that means that one of you can easily nip back to the hotel to put the baby down for a nap while the other enjoys the rides with your older kids.
  • Most Disney Hotels have a babysitting service – after all, it’s your holiday too!
  • Disney Hotel residents get to enter the Disneyland Park 2 hours before the official opening time – that’s as early as 7am! Being able to get out and explore the parks early in the morning is perfect for those of you with young children – the kids will be at their best and you won’t have to contend with crowds or long queues if you enjoy a few attractions before your midmorning snack.
  • When you stay in a Disney Hotel you can have breakfast in Disneyland Park at no extra cost a whole hour before the Park opens to the public!
  • Disney Hotels pride themselves on excellent customer service, and on a cheeriness more often found across the pond. Friendly, well-trained staff are exactly the right thing when you’re outnumbered by a pack of overexcited kids and realise you’re locked yourself out of your room.

Cafe Mickey in Disney Village, Disneyland ParisAt the start of every day and the end of every evening, make sure you take a stroll through Disney Village. Here you can dine in one of the many restaurants, visit the cinema and arcades, catch a quick coffee or shop in one of the several boutiques.

If you fancy something a bit different, why not have a character breakfast with Mickey and Friends in Café Mickey, take a balloon ride over the lake in Panoramagique or attend Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show? Just because the Parks are closed doesn’t mean the day has to end!

Recommended Disney Hotel: Disney’s Newport Bay Club

Disney Newport Bay Club at Disneyland Paris

Disney’s Newport Bay Club is the perfect, high-quality location for those with a mid-range budget.

Overlooking the beautiful Lake Disney, the Newport Bay Club has a 1920s nautical theme, which looks absolutely stunning both outside and in.

Disney Newport Bay Club room Disneyland ParisA standard room contains 2 double beds and will sleep 4 people plus a child’s cot if needed. Family of 5 or 6?  There are limited family rooms available, so book well in advance. If this option isn’t possible, then connecting rooms are also available – if a bit pricey – at the same cost as booking 2 separate rooms.

The Newport Bay Club also has 12 suites for guests wanting that little extra Disney magic.

Other hotel facilities include the Yacht Club and Cape Cod restaurants, a pool, health club, children’s TV corner and the chance to meet Disney Characters each morning. With only a 15 minute walk to the Disney Parks too, it’s perfect!

Recommended Disney Hotel: Hotel Santa Fe

Hotel Santa Fe at Disneyland Paris - ExteriorDisney’s Hotel Santa Fe is a New Mexico-themed hotel full of colourful landscapes and hot sunshine. It’s an excellent choice for those on a lower budget and is just a 20 minute walk – along the picturesque Rio Grande – to the Disney Parks. With 1000 rooms in total, the Hotel Santa Fe feels like a real community.
