Oh we do love a bit of good news! Shortly after our lovely and oh-so-tasty Pudding Parlour experience at The Athenaeum hotel in London, their team sent us this update about their most recent charity event:
On Sunday December 11th, The Athenaeum hotel in London hosted a charity event with children’s entertainers Sharky & George in aid of Louis Dundas Centre for Childrenʼs Palliative Care.
The party brought together 150 parents and children in the name of a very good cause – the Louis Dundas Centre for Children’s Palliative Care (based at Great Ormond Street hospital in London). Lord & Lady Bruce Dundas and their son Alfie, plus Melanie, Emily and Poppy Dundas and all their friends attended.
Charlie Astor and George Whitefield, the children’s entertainers to the A-list, took over the whole of the first floor of the hotel and entertained guests with different activities in each room.
Ticket sales, a glittering ʻChristmas Tree Of Promisesʼ and spa treatments provided by the hotel’s spa team helped to raise a total of £3,364 for The Louis Dundas Centre ensuring that children with life-limiting and life threatening illnesses will have access to the highest possible standard of palliative care and pain management.
