This week in our Apps for Kids series we’ve got a lovely free app for iPad 2… “Story Time” by the creators of the Land of Me. Perfect for a bit of quiet time with young children, this chapter from the Land of Me is a little like a modern Choose Your Own Adventure story – the kids get to tell Granny Olive who and what they want the story to be about, and decide whether they want a happy, sad ending or funny ending. Our children love snuggling up together and taking turns creating stories, and as a parent I really appreciate how the simple blackboard style sketches leave plenty of room for the kids to use their own imaginations. Lovely.
