The Handel House Museum was home to the composer George Frideric Handel from 1723 until his death in 1759 and the place where he composed some of his most significant music.
He composed the Messiah and several of his operas while living here. The museum celebrates his life and works and displays prints, paintings and portraits.
For children there are music workshops, Georgian costumes to try on, family concerts and a ‘hands on’ discovery trail through the museum.
Group tours are available and a small gift shop sells souvenirs and keepsakes. Admission fees apply for the museum. Concessions are available.
