Founded in the 17th century, The Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh (RBGE) specialises in the many wonders of plants and flowers as well as boasting an ecological garden an an arboretum of colourful delights. Admission to the gardens is free. A cafe is also located on these premises so that you can sit and admire the delights of botanical beauty.
